Our History

Camp Deer Trails was opened by Girl Scouts of Heart of Michigan in 1938 and for more than 70 decades was a popular destination for scouts to enjoy the great outdoors and learn new skills. Many fond memories were made here, and it holds a special place in our hearts and the hearts of those who attended.
